How is this different from Zoho Payroll (the standard product)?

Zoho Payroll is a standard SaaS offering with predefined structures. Zoho Custom Payroll is built on Zoho Creator, which means every calculation rule, statutory module, workflow and integration is bespoke to your organisation. We use it when standard payroll does not cover your specific pay components, multi-entity setup or country-specific compliance needs.

Which countries and statutory regimes do you support?

We have implemented payroll compliance for India (PAYE, PF, ESI, GST), Kenya (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF), UAE, UK, USA, and several other African and Middle Eastern jurisdictions. The compliance modules are configurable — we can extend to any jurisdiction where the statutory rules are documented.

Employee data syncs from Zoho People or your HRIS, salary structures link to cost centres in Zoho Books, and payroll journals post to your GL automatically.
