A full product engineering team, not a body shop
You already have a product. What you need is an engineering partner who can take responsibility for the whole product surface — UX research, architecture, build, QA, release, observability, growth experiments, security hardening, and the years of incremental modernization that come after launch. That is what we mean by product engineering services — the breadth of capability a product company actually needs, delivered as one accountable team.
This is different from our other engagement modes. Product development is for long-lived product squads owning a 3–5 year roadmap. MVP development is for founders who need a live product in 8–12 weeks. Custom software development is for bespoke enterprise systems that off-the-shelf software cannot match. Product engineering services sits across all of those — it is the full-spectrum engineering capability behind a product, drawn from one organisation rather than stitched across vendors.
Who this is for
Heads of Product, CTOs at scale-ups, and VPs of Engineering at enterprise product organisations who have outgrown contract developers and need an actual engineering team they can trust with the roadmap. Typical signals: you are past product-market fit, your existing engineering team is stretched, your release cadence is slipping, and your customers are starting to ask for the polish that comes from a mature product organisation — not just new features.
We work with B2B SaaS scale-ups post-Series B, enterprise SaaS divisions inside banks and insurers, vertical software companies in BFSI and healthcare, and platform companies whose product is the business. Case studies include several of these patterns in production.
What an engagement looks like
Most product engineering engagements start with a two-week discovery — we read the codebase, sit with your existing team, interview customers, audit your roadmap and metrics, and produce a shared architecture and quality-bar document. That document becomes the engineering contract. From there we form a long-lived squad — typically 6 to 12 engineers across product, design, frontend, backend, QA, DevOps and data — that ships against the roadmap with a named tech lead and quarterly OKRs you agree.
The squad is yours for the long term. Average tenure on our product squads is north of three years. Retention on our engineering bench is 90%+, which is what makes the long-term partnership credible.
The disciplines we bring inside the squad
Product discovery and UX research — we map the actual user flow before changing code. Customer interviews, journey mapping, design system audit.
Architecture and platform engineering — we own architecture decisions and write them down. ADRs, service boundaries, data contracts, performance budgets. We run regular tech-debt audits and prioritise the cost-of-delay items, not just the loud ones.
Frontend and mobile engineering — modern web stacks (React/Next.js, Vue), iOS, Android, React Native. Design-system-first development with shared component libraries.
Backend and data engineering — Java/Spring, Node, Python, Go. Postgres, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis. Event-driven and CQRS where it earns its keep.
QA, automation and release engineering — automated test pyramids, contract testing, performance benchmarks in CI. Release trains with feature flags so you ship daily without drama.
DevOps and SRE — AWS, Azure, GCP. Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), Kubernetes, observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry). SLOs and error budgets, not just dashboards.
Security and compliance hardening — SOC 2, ISO 27001 readiness, OWASP-aligned threat modelling, dependency scanning, secrets management. We have shipped SOC 2 Type II environments for USA customers and DPA 2019 / UK GDPR / FTA / IRDAI / CBK environments for regulated buyers.
Growth and product instrumentation — analytics that the product team actually uses. Event taxonomies, A/B testing harnesses, retention dashboards, activation funnels.
AI and ML integration — drawing on our AI/ML development practice to embed copilots, RAG, recommendation engines and ML scoring inside the product.
How we run the squad
Two-week sprints, daily standups in your timezone, fortnightly demos to your product leadership, monthly architecture reviews, quarterly OKR refresh. We use your tools — Linear, Jira, Notion, GitHub, Slack — and your codebase lives in your repo on day one. The squad ramps in six to ten weeks with named engineers, not anonymous resources.
For enterprise product organisations who want even tighter governance, we can stand the squad up inside a captive Global Capability Centre in India — your entity, our HR and engineering operations, ramped to full headcount inside three months.
