What it does

Redian's solar project tracking solution gives you a single project record that runs the full lifecycle: site survey, design freeze, BOQ, procurement, dispatch, installation, net-metering, inspection, and commissioning. Every milestone is dated, owned and gated. Materials issued to site are reconciled against BOQ. Vendor invoices and subcontractor payments are linked to the milestone that releases them. When the finance team asks "where is the money on Site 47?", the answer is one click, not three spreadsheets.

The platform is built on a configurable workflow engine so a 5 MW utility-scale project and a 25 kW rooftop install can live in the same system, with different stage gates, document checklists and approval chains.

Core modules

Sales-to-project handover. The proposal in CRM — system size, panel/inverter mix, expected generation, contract value — converts into a project with the BOQ pre-populated. No re-keying. Built on our Zoho CRM expertise or integrated with your existing CRM.

BOQ and procurement. Bill of quantities at the component level (modules, inverters, structures, cables, BoS, civil). Purchase orders raised against project budget. Vendor lead times tracked so a 6-week module delivery doesn't surprise the site team in week 5.

Inventory and dispatch. Material moves from central store to site store to "installed on roof." Serial-number capture for panels and inverters — critical for warranty, performance guarantees and theft reconciliation.

Site execution and crew scheduling. Daily progress against plan, photo evidence per milestone, crew attendance, safety incident log. Subcontractor work-package sign-off before their RA invoice is released.

Inspections and approvals. DISCOM applications, net-metering, electrical inspector, subsidy claims, CEIG/CEI approvals where applicable — each tracked as a milestone with document checklist and SLA timer.

Commissioning and handover. Performance test data, drone/thermography reports, as-built drawings, O&M handover pack. Project closes only when every document is in.

Financials linked end-to-end. Customer milestone billing, retention release, vendor payable schedules, GST/VAT compliance, project P&L. Integrates with your ERP or sits on a custom-built finance backbone.

Portfolio dashboards. MW under construction, MW commissioned this quarter, ageing of stuck inspections, vendor performance, project-level gross margin variance against bid.
