Our CEO Mr. Pavan Verma attended the "CEO Forum" organised by Amity University, Greater Noida campus. The agenda of this seminar was to make students aware of the 7M's of management, namely: Manpower, Machine, Money, Media, Method, Market and Motivation. The forum brought together various esteemed industry leaders, distinguished academics, researchers and the bright students of Amity University, Greater Noida.

The 7M Framework

The 7M framework is one of those teaching tools that survives in management classrooms because it is simple enough to remember and broad enough to cover most of what a young manager will actually face. Manpower and Money are the resources every business has to balance; Machine and Method capture the operational layer; Market and Media frame how a business reaches its customers; and Motivation — often the hardest to teach — is what holds the other six together.

For the students in the room, the value of the session was less the framework itself and more the chance to hear how working CEOs translate textbook concepts into day-to-day decisions. The conversation moved through hiring under uncertainty, choosing which markets to enter, and the kind of cultural choices that decide whether a young team can hold together through its first difficult quarter.

Why Industry Engagement Matters

Redian Software's leadership has been an active participant in academic forums of this kind for years, including engagements through the NASSCOM SME National Council, TiE charter membership, and direct mentoring relationships with engineering and management schools. Pavan brings to those conversations an Engineering and MBA background from FMS Delhi, alongside the operational lens of having built Redian from its founding in 2016 into a multi-office firm across Noida, Nairobi, Dubai, London and New York.

The link between industry and academia is not a one-way street. Sessions like this one shape how Redian thinks about hiring the next cohort of engineers and consultants, and they shape how universities update their curricula in line with what industry actually needs. Readers interested in how that thinking carries into client work can read more about Redian(/about) or explore the partnerships(/about/partners) that anchor our delivery. For students reading this archive entry years on, the 7M framework still holds — and the door at Redian is open through our contact page(/contact).
