Redian Software CEO Pavan Verma Joins NASSCOM SME Council Delegation to Sri Lanka for DISHA Programme Launch

Redian Software is proud to announce that its Founder & CEO, Pavan Verma, was part of the NASSCOM SME Council delegation that visited Colombo, Sri Lanka, to strengthen collaboration between the Indian and Sri Lankan technology ecosystems and support the growth of the SME sector.

The visit marked the launch of the DISHA Programme, an initiative aimed at empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Sri Lanka through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and international collaboration. The delegation participated at the invitation of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, in collaboration with the High Commission of India in Colombo, under the leadership of H.E. Santosh Jha, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka.

For Pavan Verma, this was his first visit to Sri Lanka and an opportunity to experience the country's rapidly evolving technology landscape. Throughout the visit, the delegation engaged with key stakeholders from the government, industry, and startup ecosystem to explore opportunities for innovation, digital transformation, and cross-border partnerships.

A key highlight of the programme was the interaction with SLASSCOM (Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies) and approximately 40 Sri Lankan SMEs. The sessions focused on mentoring entrepreneurs, sharing best practices in scaling technology businesses, global market expansion, and building sustainable digital enterprises.

Reflecting on the visit, Pavan Verma said:

The delegation also explored opportunities for increased collaboration between Indian and Sri Lankan technology companies in areas including digital transformation, software services, artificial intelligence, fintech, and startup ecosystem development.
