Senior Full-Stack Engineer — Banking Platform

Build the customer-facing layer of our core banking platform in production at SACCOs and microfinance institutions across East Africa.
What you'll work on
You'll join our Banking team and own end-to-end feature delivery on our core banking platform — from APIs in Node/Java to React/Next.js front-ends, mobile apps and BFSI-grade integrations.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing features in the core banking platform
- Pair with domain experts to translate banking requirements into clean architecture
- Review code with rigor; mentor mid-level engineers
- Operate what you build — observability, incident response, performance
Requirements
- 5+ years building production web applications
- Strong TypeScript + React or Java + Spring
- Postgres / MongoDB at scale
- Comfort with regulated industries (banking preferred)
Nice to have
- Experience with SACCO / microfinance products
- OpenAPI / REST contract design
- Kubernetes
