Build production ML pricing & rating engines for general insurance carriers across India, the UK and East Africa.
What you'll do
Design, train and deploy pricing & rating models that are live in regulated insurance pricing decisions.
What you'll do
- Design GLM + boosted hybrid models for motor, health and life pricing
- Build feature pipelines, training, evaluation and drift monitoring
- Partner with actuaries on regulator-ready explainability
- Own the model in production — not just the notebook
Requirements
- 4+ years ML engineering experience
- Python, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Production MLOps experience (MLflow / SageMaker / Vertex)
- Comfort working with actuaries and regulators
Nice to have
- GLM / actuarial background
- Causal inference
