Redian Software at Odoo Experience India 2026 — Gandhinagar recap

Odoo Experience India 2026 wrapped up in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and Redian Software was on the exhibitor floor across all three days as an Odoo Official Partner and Learning Partner. Between demos, developer conversations, and back-to-back partner meetings, the booth stayed busy from opening keynote to close.

This is a short recap of what we showed, who we met, and what we're taking home from the event.

The theme we took to the show — Odoo for BFSI

Instead of a generic Odoo booth, we designed the stand around a single message: ERP built for banking, finance & insurance. That's where the majority of our Odoo delivery work has landed over the last two years — banks, NBFCs, cooperatives, insurance brokerages, and asset managers picking Odoo as their operating layer because it's the only mainstream ERP that stays configurable enough for regulated workflows without the six-figure licence bills of the traditional core platforms.

Four service lanes were on the back wall:

  • CRM — lead-to-onboarding pipelines, branch and channel workflows, partner tracking, renewals and cross-sell.
  • Analytics — portfolio, risk and performance dashboards on top of the Odoo data model.
  • Back Office — general ledger, sub-ledgers, treasury touchpoints, and integrations with core banking / policy admin systems.
  • HRMS — attendance, payroll, and appraisals for head-office and branch teams.

The tag line on the stand — "One Odoo platform, configured for regulated financial operations and implemented by Redian's Odoo team" — is the pitch in a sentence.

Who came to the booth

The audience mix was broader than we expected. Alongside the Odoo user base we planned for — mid-market CFOs, IT heads, in-house Odoo teams evaluating custom modules — we spent as much time with:

  • Bank and NBFC transformation teams benchmarking Odoo against Temenos, Finacle, and homegrown builds.
  • Insurance brokerages and TPAs looking for a single stack across policy admin, claims, and finance without stitching three vendors together.
  • Students and early-career developers asking about the Odoo developer path — we run a certified Zoho + Odoo developer track, so those conversations were productive on both sides.

At peak hours the booth was three-deep. Below is one of those clusters — engineering and product folks working through a live workflow with our stand team.

Three takeaways we're carrying home

1. BFSI on Odoo is finally a mainstream conversation. Two years ago we were explaining why banks would consider Odoo at all. This year most of the questions were about how — data residency, audit trails, RBI reporting, integration with existing core, migration windows. The market has moved.

2. Configurable beats "featured" for regulated buyers. The banks and brokerages we spoke to don't want a shipping-container BFSI product from a big vendor. They want a platform their internal team can extend against their exact process — which is exactly what Odoo's module architecture lets us do.

3. Learning-partner track has real pull. A meaningful share of booth traffic was aspiring Odoo developers and Odoo delivery partners looking for structured upskilling. That validates our decision to formalise the Learning Partner side of the business — expect more from us there in Q1.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by

To the visitors, the fellow partners, the Odoo India team who kept the venue running, and our own booth crew who worked three long days without dropping energy — thank you.

If you spoke to us at the booth and are ready for the next step — a scoped demo of Odoo for your BFSI workflow, a fit-gap against your existing core, or a conversation about a specific integration — book a working session with Redian's Odoo team and we'll pick up where we left off in Gandhinagar.
