Independence Day celebration 2018

On 14th August 2018, Redian Software celebrated independence with the zeal and spirit appropriate to the occasion. CEO of the company Mr. Pavan Verma and the employees graced the occasion, remembering the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to gift us this day of great significance. The complete office floor was decorated in the tricolours of the national flag, and employees dressed in ethnic attire brought a special effect to the office ambience, reminiscing the ethnicity of the nation's true spirit.

A young company, an old tradition

In 2018, Redian was barely two years old. The Noida office was still a single floor of engineers, project managers, and customer-success staff supporting a growing book of CRM and custom-development clients across India, the UK and the US. Independence Day became one of the early shared rituals of the company — alongside Diwali, Holi and the annual team off-site — that helped a small team build a sense of belonging while taking on increasingly large enterprise mandates.

The choice to mark 14th August, rather than wait for the 15th, was deliberate. It allowed the whole workforce to participate before the public holiday, with morning flag hoisting followed by patriotic recitations and a shared lunch. For many junior engineers, this was their first such workplace observance after college, and it set a tone that the company has tried to preserve as headcount has grown.

From one floor in Noida to five delivery hubs

Eight years on, the same ritual is now observed in parallel across delivery centres in Noida, Nairobi, Dubai, London and New York. Each location adapts the format to local context — the Nairobi and Dubai offices, for instance, host their own national-day observances — but the underlying intent of pausing the project calendar to recognize shared identity remains unchanged.
